Lucky Me...

Look what came in the post yesterday..

And here is what was inside...
I was the lucky person who won the Shabby Art Boutique $100 visa giveaway....and look at the
lovely little pouch it came in...I have always loved these little pouches and have always had the
intentions of making some but it is sooo good to be given one and it is sooo pretty...Thank you
heaps Shabby Art Boutique for the visa and the pouch....now what will I buy???

I haven't been blogging much lately..secretly sewing some christmas pressies...and baby sitting..
I did make a couple of these little dolls for christmas...

I then used them to jazz up my dining chairs for christmas...

My youngest daughter has been cooking more lately, usually cakes and biscuits but now she has been trying her hand at dinners..this is her interpretation of  pizza...it was sooo yummy, I think I should quit kitchen duties now and leave it all up to her.. that of course would leave me more time for sewing...lol

Oh I almost forgot..A few weeks ago the Tuesday Girls took a scrapbooking class to make christmas banners for our homes...Yes I know...crossing over to the dark side again and you know - it's getting easier and easier to cross over..very scary stuff..
This is what my work area looked like during the making of the banner..I had to place something with a little weight ontop while the glue dried...so I was grabbing anything I could find..

I don't have a photo of the full banner but here are a couple of photos ...the words on the banner read -
Merry Christmas...

Now before I sign off I have to add a couple of photos of my grandson...on Monday we sat together of the floor and unpacked a box of food toys that his mother played with when she was little..
I don't know how many times I had to fake eat one of them as they were presented to us when she was little...I can remember one morning being woken to a meal of hamburger and cupcakes for brekky...
Now it's Hudsons turn to play with them...I dont think he quite has the idea that they are not edible...first its cake (they are my genes coming out in him here...lol)

The pizza...yes definitely my taste buds coming out in him here...

Look mum, honest...nana was feeding me carrots too...

Anyhow...that's all for now.  I hope everyone is enjoying the lead up to christmas....and Helen put on that chrissy music, pour yourself a drink, and tackle your christmas tree...lol
